LEGYRO FOOTBALL

How to play.

This guide explains the normal flow of a LEGYRO Football career. You do not need to memorise every system before playing: the important idea is that you are managing the direction of a whole career rather than controlling individual matches.

1. CREATE YOUR PLAYER

Give the career a starting point.

A new run begins with the player profile that will be used throughout the career.

Choose the profile

Complete the available setup choices and select the position you want to use. Position matters because the career can evaluate performance and statistics differently depending on the role.

Treat each run as separate

The active career has its own route, history and outcome. Starting a new player is an opportunity to explore a different path rather than overwrite the meaning of an older finished career.

2. BEGIN THE CAREER

Choose where the story starts.

The opening stage introduces the first club opportunities and establishes the environment in which the player begins developing.

Read the offer, not only the badge

The first club is part of the route. A career is not designed around immediately reaching the biggest possible destination, so consider the starting context as the first chapter rather than the final objective.

Your player is still developing

Early seasons are about building the player. Current level is important, but development and future opportunities are what turn an initial prospect into a more established career.

3. PROGRESS THROUGH SEASONS

Watch the career change over time.

Each season adds information to the timeline. The important question is not only “did the rating go up?” but “what did this season do to the next part of the career?”

OVR

Current level

OVR is the clearest summary of the player's current football level. It can rise or change across the career as the player develops.

DEVELOPMENT

Growth context

Development describes the progress around that current level and helps communicate whether the player is still moving toward further growth.

MORALE

Career context

Morale reflects part of the player's current situation. Read it alongside the wider career rather than treating it as a standalone score.

4. MAKE CAREER DECISIONS

Choices can alter the route.

Events appear during the career and present options with different consequences. LEGYRO is built around these moments because they create the difference between merely advancing a calendar and actually shaping a story.

Read the situation first

A choice that sounds aggressive or ambitious is not automatically the best answer. Consider the player's current stage, development and career position before selecting a route.

Accept uncertainty

Career decisions can involve risk. The game is more interesting when there is not always one obviously correct button, so a strong career can still contain setbacks or imperfect outcomes.

5. EVALUATE CLUB OPPORTUNITIES

A transfer is a new chapter.

As the player advances, new club opportunities can become part of the career. A move changes the history you are building and can influence what kind of legacy the run eventually leaves.

Think beyond the immediate step

An offer can be attractive because of prestige, timing or a new route, but staying can also be meaningful if the player is building a strong relationship and history with the current club.

There is no required route

LEGYRO is not asking every career to visit the same sequence of clubs. The value of the market system comes from producing routes that can diverge.

6. CHASE HONOURS

Trophies become part of the record.

Team trophies and supported individual honours add weight to the career history. They are milestones, but they are not the only way to create an interesting run.

Team success

Trophies help define major seasons and can become permanent collection entries where the current profile system supports them.

Individual milestones

Supported individual achievements and career milestones can also contribute to the final history and the persistent profile layer.

7. REACH RETIREMENT

Finish the story, then look back.

A LEGYRO career is meant to end. Retirement closes the active run and lets you evaluate what the player actually became across the full timeline.

Review the route

Look at the clubs, seasons, honours and major stages that made the run distinctive. A career can be memorable for dominance, loyalty, late growth or an unusual path.

Carry supported milestones forward

The local LEGYRO Profile can keep supported achievements, completed-career information and collection progress after a run ends. Read the Legacy & Profile guide for more detail.
